We’re looking for a Client Reviewer to undertake periodic client reviews for ZEDRA Jersey clients covering Trust Company Business, Investment Business and Fund Services Business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Undertake periodic reviews for new and existing client entities.
  • Ensure that review findings are concise, accurate and correctly recorded.
  • Update the Review Tracker in a timely matter on completion of each review, also adding any relevant comments which may affect the timing/completion.
  • Risk Screen and Google searches.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on necessary actions to achieve regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and enhance controls addressing any issues arising from periodic reviews.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of control documents, policies, procedures and processes.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of key risks, legal, regulatory and AML obligations applicable to the business’ operations and their impacts on the business. Ensure clear understanding of the business’ Risk Appetite Statement.
  • Encourage a culture of compliance by building strong relationships within the business.
  • Develop knowledge in others through the delivery of regulatory and controls training and feedback.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, ensuring the objectives, initiatives and information is cascaded to team/direct reports.
  • Undertake role specific tasks to support the Business Support Manager.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 3 – 5 year experience working in a similar support role.
  • Track record within the offshore financial services industry with experience of the administration of funds, trusts and company structures.
  • A good understanding of Anti Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism and Proliferation Financing legislation, codes of practice and regulatory guidance as well as industry best practice is essential.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of financial services legislation, including company and trust law is essential.
  • A good understanding of the operational process and business practices of a financial services business.
  • An understanding of NavOne would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
  • The role holder is expected to hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA equivalent.
