Toby Sturgeon

The team has oversight of over £10bn of assets from almost 1,000 portfolios and models.

The team is fully independent and regulated by the JFSC. They can provide bespoke solutions offering unconstrained service for investments, reporting, cash management and investment professionals on advisory mandates.

Toby Chairs the quarterly Investment Committee which maintains a panel of preferred investment managers where they have carried out onsite due diligence and ensure they are delivering strong risk adjusted returns to ensure they are retained solely on merit.

Toby has been in the industry for over 23 years, starting his career at a leading asset management firm, spending six years as a departmental manager. From 2004 until 2009, he worked as the Vice President for a fund of hedge funds manager, where he held operational responsibility for portfolio construction, liquidity management, FX hedging and managing the relationships with key counter parties and corporate clients.

Toby has a 2nd class honours degree in Math’s and Economics and is a chartered fellow of the chartered institute for securities and investment (CISI), he also holds the CISI level 6 certificate in private client investment advice and management.

Toby has forged strong relationships with key investment managers and works closely with them and the trustees to ensure the appropriate appointment of investment mandates.
