Rachael Fortescue

Rachael has over 30 years in the pension industry as a Chair of Trustees, Senior Trustee Executive, Pensions Manager and Governance specialist.
Rachael is Managing Director of ZEDRA Inside Pensions. Prior to this Rachael was Pensions Manager and Secretary at Rolls-Royce plc and was an Associate Consultant at Lane Clark & Peacock.
Rachael is responsible for the overall delivery of trustee executive services to its c.60 clients with assets under management in excess of £50bn. Rachael also heads the specialist project team delivering various governance solutions to a range of clients. Rachael has vast experience of working with pension arrangements across a variety of schemes, of various sizes, each with their own complexities and issues. Rachael has a particular specialism in helping clients navigate complex investment strategies, understanding what makes an effective and efficient trustee board and helping clients to review and implement strategic and operational governance solutions.
Rachael provides coaching, mentoring and runs training and educational sessions for the internal team and clients. Rachael was nominated Adviser of the Year 2021 in the Women in Pensions.
