Alan is an engaging and pragmatic pension professional, with 15 years in the pension industry. He is a former pensions actuary and investment consultant and is based in our Leeds office.
Alan has been significantly involved in all aspects of DB & DC pensions work with a wide range of companies and schemes, including small and large DB schemes, DC master trusts and workplace pension providers. His areas of specialism include DB governance, investment strategy, DC design, and end-game solutions for small to mid-tier DB schemes.
Alan brings detailed knowledge of current legislative requirements and market developments, including on ESG and sustainability. He is a regular speaker at seminars as well as contributing to industry thought pieces and responding to government consultations.
As well as strong technical background, Alan favours a pragmatic and jargon-free approach to working with schemes and advisers alike.
