We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic International Finance Manager to lead and shape the finance function for ZEDRA’s operations in Poland.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll have full ownership of the local finance function, while working closely with senior leadership both in Poland and across Europe. You’ll play a key part in driving financial performance, delivering high-quality reporting, and strengthening the control environment.

In this position, you’ll lead and develop a local finance team, oversee statutory reporting, tax, and payroll activities, and ensure audit readiness. Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll also contribute to wider transformation initiatives, process improvements, and finance systems development across the Group.

This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment, takes ownership, and is excited to represent ZEDRA Poland from a financial perspective while influencing decision-making at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

As Finance Lead in Poland, you will take full ownership of local finance operations while playing a key strategic role within the wider European team.

  • Lead and oversee all finance and accounting activities in Poland, including managing and developing the local finance team
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to support group consolidation, management decision-making, and investor requirements
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting processes end-to-end
  • Manage treasury, liquidity, and cash flow, including optimisation of surplus cash and dividend planning
  • Act as the main finance partner to the European Finance Director and the local Managing Director
  • Ensure audit readiness, coordinating both internal and external audits and supporting follow-up actions
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax, and payroll (VAT, CIT, intercompany, payroll processes)
  • Maintain a strong financial control environment aligned with Group policies and deadlines
  • Drive improvements in finance processes, reporting quality, and operational efficiency (including KPIs and trend analysis)
  • Support business transformation, integration, and change initiatives in Poland
  • Contribute to the development of finance systems, data, and reporting tools (including Power BI)
  • Support regional finance projects and complex accounting matters as required

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment.

Experience and Background

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager in an international organisation
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in similar roles within the financial services industry
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and developing finance teams
  • Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Experience in asset management or fiduciary services is considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with systems such as Navision, Adaptive, or similar tools is beneficial

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant (Chartered, Certified, or equivalent)
  • Solid academic background in finance, accounting, or a related field
