ZEDRA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to support our compliance function and help ensure we meet the highest regulatory and ethical standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional with around three years of experience who enjoys analytical work, staying up to date with regulatory developments, and collaborating with colleagues across the business.

Key Accountabilities

Compliance Monitoring & Regulatory Support

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine checks and reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and assist in updating internal policies accordingly.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities and regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to information requests under supervision.

Audits, Reporting & Investigations

  • Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Help investigate compliance issues and support the resolution of any identified breaches.

Training & Awareness

  • Assist in delivering compliance training and awareness programs to staff.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Use judgement and initiative in applying standard work practices and solving day to day problems.

  • The successful candidate will be fluent in English and an understanding of other languages is desirable.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
