Senior Fund Accountant

We are looking for a passionate Senior Fund Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will work closely with emerging and mid‑market fund managers, supporting their growth while gaining hands‑on experience across fund setup, NAV production, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities
As part of a collaborative team of accountants and tax experts, you will support our corporate and fund clients with:
- Maintaining bookkeeping records and preparing Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
- Processing capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
- Monitoring cash flow, performing bank reconciliations, and executing payments.
- Ensuring compliance with LuxGAAP and other relevant financial reporting standards.
- Preparing periodic financial reports and annual accounts.
- Managing communication with administrators, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Preparing VAT and corporate tax returns, including partnership filings.
You will also contribute to objectives related to client delivery, operational efficiency, and risk management.
Knowledge & Experience
Professional & Technical Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Luxembourg fund accounting, including NAV calculations.
- University degree in accounting (minimum Bachelor’s) or equivalent qualification.
- Good understanding of Luxembourg tax frameworks and interest in international tax.
- Knowledge of LuxGAAP reporting standards.
- Experience with a range of fund structures, including alternative funds.
- Experience with consolidation and IFRS is considered an advantage.
- Solid understanding of accounting systems and Microsoft Office tools.
