Administration & Business Development Officer Scarlett shares her love of developing relationships with interesting people from all backgrounds.

Can you describe your role at ZEDRA?

As an Administration and Business Development Officer in Miami, I work closely with our Managing Director to provide sales support for all new business. I liaise with the clients, intermediaries, as well as my colleagues in the corresponding offices, to ensure an efficient and continuous onboarding process for clients. Along with following up with business development, I take care of anything that has to do with marketing events, meetings and the administration of the office.

How did you get into your line of work and what drives your passion now?

I have always been attracted to positions where the client relationship takes precedence, which is extremely important in the financial services industry. Being able to deliver impeccable results and provide whomever it is I am servicing a thorough, unique experience is something I truly take pride in and strive for everyday.

In your mind, what makes ZEDRA different from other providers?

What attracted me the most to ZEDRA was the company’s ability to expand and make its mark in the industry so quickly. Being able to achieve so much in a short amount of time makes a significant statement in regards to ZEDRA’s potential and where the company is headed. ZEDRA is also able to provide a personalised experience to our clients, all while delivering precise services tailored to our clients’ needs.

What is something interesting/unique about your job that always surprises?

Something that surprises me from time to time is the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with interesting people from all types of backgrounds and influences.

What do you like most about your job?

With every new business relationship comes a new facet or jurisdiction of the industry that perhaps I was not exposed to before. As I mentioned, every client has a particular need, and with the changing regulations and governance, we are bound to run into something we are not so familiar with. The room for learning and personal growth is never-ending which is something that excites me.

What is your motto?

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” – John F. Kennedy
