Happy birthday to ZEDRA and all our colleagues around the world!

Since 2016 we have been working really hard on building on the heritage of Barclays, which spans back for more than 100 years, and we are really proud to be able to say that in five years we have nearly tripled in size; whether that be in revenues or in number of staff we employ. In addition to this we have also doubled the jurisdictions in which we are present, still acting as #ONETEAMONECOMPANY, so we believe we have come a long way.

We are delighted to have been able to continue to hire throughout the pandemic, with 71 permanent members of staff plus additional contractors/consultants joining us in 2020 alone. These new colleagues have come in to help expand our new service lines of Active Wealth, Funds and Global Expansion Services making ZEDRA a one-stop shop for its clients’ needs.

We cannot talk about last year in business without acknowledging the special challenges we saw during 2020. In many ways the year allowed us to strip back to the basics of ZEDRA’s values: listening to our clients and their advisors, delivering whatever it was our clients needed in changing circumstances all whilst providing a first-class service. Our philosophy to ‘Aim High’ on behalf of our clients has never been more central to us than it has in the last year, and it will continue to serve as our guiding principle as we look to our sixth year in business, too.

Looking forward we know that 2021 may not all be plain sailing, but we are excited to build on our successes, grow our business and deliver excellent service to our clients and their advisors. This time five years ago we set out with the mission to help our clients ‘Do More. Achieve More,’ and we vow to keep this promise high for the next five years and beyond.
