In 2020, we announced our first international charity partnership with World Heart Beat Music Academy.
Through the partnership, ZEDRA sponsors a Jazz Development Programme for eight talented young musicians. Many of the musicians live in challenging circumstances and need practical support to help them to reach their full musical potential.
Through ZEDRA Jazz Development Programme, we are able to play a part in providing the musicians with specialist tuition, the possibility to attend dedicated masterclasses, play in regular ensemble sessions, and perform in a wide variety of venues that may not otherwise have been a possibility.
The World Heart Beat Music Academy aims to bring the world’s cultures together through music. The Academy sees music as a universal form of communication to bridge cultural, political, economic and linguistic barriers.
