Mark Cleary
Director, Deputy Head of Funds
Mark Cleary is the Deputy Head of Funds in the Channel Islands and has over 30 years of experience working in the funds and asset management industry, predominantly in Jersey but also in Luxembourg and Guernsey.
Mark is an accomplished financial services leader and combines experience as a fund product developer with a deep understanding of fund administration, governance, compliance, and risk. Mark acts as a director on numerous client entities (private and public markets) and more recently hs been focusing on client acquisition across the Crown Dependencies.
Mark joined ZEDRA in 2016 as a director in their Guernsey funds business and later became a director of the Jersey funds business in 2018. Prior to this Mark worked for Barclays Wealth in Jersey (the entity which went on to became ZEDRA) as Head of Funds.
Mark holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Financial Services from the University of Manchester and was awarded the CFA® designation in 2012. Mark is a Chartered Director, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD) and holds a Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA).
