We are honoured to act as the professional trustee for hundreds of clients who are creating new trusts or for those who wish to step down as trustee of existing trusts and appoint ZEDRA in their place.

We handle all aspects of the trust’s administration including Trust Registration Service compliance with HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). Our service covers all necessary compliance and regulatory reporting obligations in addition to accurate record keeping and making payments to beneficiaries.
Appointing us as Professional Trustee of New and Existing Trusts:
- Complete the relevant Appointment of Professional Trustee Agreement
- Scan this and send to [email protected]
- Send the original completed Agreement to ZEDRA or Quilter, in accordance with the below table
- ZEDRA will be appointed as Trustee (subject to satisfactory money laundering checks)
- Pay the Trust set up fee to ZEDRA, see section F of the Professional Trustee Agreement

º If your client is placing an existing Quilter bond into trust, please ignore this column. All Quilter’s trusts, excluding the Loan trust, can be placed in trust post issue.
¹ Trust deeds: includes English Law version and Scots Law version (where available).
² Dating of the trust deed: If ZEDRA agrees to be appointed as a trustee, we will date the trust deed as soon as we are able. For example, if a bond is applied for online and ZEDRA have accepted being a trustee and have all the necessary completed paperwork – we will date the trust the same day the bond is started.
³ ZEDRA will not act as professional trustee on the unlimited liability Loan trust.

- Scan this together with a copy of the Bond Application Form and Trust Deed and send to [email protected]
- Pay the TRS fee to ZEDRA, see section 3 of the Client Agreement
