Alex is the lead scheme secretary to a large financial organisation and a large motor organisation, as well as the main contact and meeting attendee for the committees of three other clients.
Alex is a university graduate with a BA degree in politics and international relations from the University of Nottingham. She has gained experience in pensions and the provision of secretarial services having started her career as a Trustee Administrator with Inside Pensions (now part of ZEDRA) in 2014. Alex is currently studying for a Pensions Management Institute (PMI) qualification.
Alex is a fast learner, highly organised, proactive and an effective communicator at all levels. She quickly demonstrated the skills of an effective scheme secretary and was promoted to Trustee Executive after a few years with Inside Pensions.
Alex provides secretarial and pensions manager support services on a range of matters to DB and DC clients. This includes, for example, the preparation, drafting of minutes and follow up of actions for trustee meetings; the project management of various key deliverables, the drafting of member and scheme communications; and dealing with complex discretion cases. She maintains effective and collaborative working relationships with chairs, other trustees, sponsors, advisers, and suppliers of the clients where she delivers services.
