Senior Relationship Manager (AIFM)

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Relationship Manager to join our Registered AIFM Department. The role involves managing various registered AIFMs structures with assets such as PE, RE listed assets and some cryptos funds. More globally, the Senior Relationship Manager will seek to ensure that the AIFM’s activities comply with applicable regulations.
This position aim to performing controls and providing recommendations, as a matter expert with regard to existing regulation, and/or related to the execution of market transactions in accordance with internal and external directives, professional code of ethics, rules of conduct and other legal market requirements in these matters.
The successful candidate will ensure the proper running of tasks by the team, including CSSF reporting(s) as well as ongoing duties implied by the regulation (AML-KYC reviews, RC report amongst others) for the clients, with the support of other departments. Function will imply a support to a number of other AIFMS/AIFs seeking support from the Reg. AIFM department.
The position also requires review of legal and financial documents, and to act as the primary point of contact between clients and teams. The candidate will also be required to participate in discussions with the CSSF during registrations or various file reviews (welcome visits, off-site, and on-site visits).
Key Accountabilities
The responsibilities for the Senior Relationship Manager will span across areas including fund administration, team coordination, client relationship management, regulatory compliance and reporting.
Knowledge & Experience
- Master’s degree in finance, law, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to AIFMs
- At least 5 years of experience in a PSF in Luxembourg
- Exhibit a strong grasp of the AIFM regulatory framework, including the AIFM Law of 2013, Circular 18/698, and Delegated Regulation 231/2013, as well as AML/CTF and any other regulatory requirements applicable to the collective investment sector (including but not limited to : ESG / SFDR, etc …)
- Strong understanding of Luxembourg’s regulatory framework (AIFM Directive especially)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Leadership: proven track record of leading teams and driving organisational success
