We’re looking for a passionate Senior Fund Accountant professional ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you’ll work closely with emerging and mid‑market fund managers, helping them grow while gaining hands‑on experience in fund setup, NAV production, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Key Accountabilities

As part of a collaborative team of accountants and tax experts, you’ll support our corporate and fund clients with:

  • Bookkeeping and Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
  • Processing capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
  • Monitoring cash flow, performing bank reconciliations, and executing payments
  • Ensuring compliance with LuxGAAP and other relevant financial reporting standards
  • Preparing periodic financial reports and annual accounts
  • Managing communication with administrations, auditors, and stakeholders
  • Preparing VAT and corporate tax returns, including partnership filings
  • You will also be responsible for a number of objectives across client delivery, operations and risk management.

Knowledge and Experience

Professional and Technical Experience

  • You will have 5-7 years’ experience in the accounting of Luxembourg funds and the calculation of net asset value.
  • Holder of a higher education diploma in accounting (minimum bachelor’s degree) or equivalent;
  • You are familiar with the Luxembourg tax mechanisms applied to companies, and have an interest in international tax;
  • You have knowledge of current LUX GAAP reporting and experience in accounting for a range of fund structures, including the consolidation of complex alternative fund structures – IFRS and consolidation experience a helpful addition;
  • Understanding of alternative funds, and fund structures in Luxembourg;
  • You understand the operation of accounting tools and Microsoft Office.
  • You are autonomous, rigorous, precise and organized with a methodical approach to managing client files;
  • Strong awareness of risk, with a pro-active risk culture that supports good long-term decision making which balances risk with the need to deliver for clients;
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, able to deal with complex issues quickly, and translate them into simple terms and key actions for colleagues and clients;
  • Demonstrate technical competency and an ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively.
  • The successful candidate will be fluent in English and have a good understanding of French. An understanding of other languages is an Advantage.
