ZEDRA is embarking on an ambitious technology-driven roadmap aimed at enhancing our operational capabilities. This includes implementing a cutting-edge fund administration platform and seamlessly integrating new tools to augment our existing platforms. This role has been created to lead Intelligent Automation efforts across service lines.

Responsibilities will involve strategising, planning, and executing initiatives to leverage intelligent automation technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimise business processes. This will entail identifying opportunities for automation, designing solutions, overseeing implementation, and continuously refining processes to drive efficiency and innovation.

*This is a remote position.

Key Accountabilities

  • Automation Strategy – Continue to develop and implement Zedra Intelligent Automation Strategy
  • Project Management – Oversee the planning and execution of automation projects from inception to completion.
  • Process Assessment – be actively involved in the identification of processes suitable for automation, assessing their feasibility and potential benefits
  • Delivery on targeted automation benefits (including automated FTE & risk benefits). Presenting these on a regular basis to senior management.
  • Vendor Management – Manage outsourced automation resources and maximise delivery from these partnerships
  • Quality Assurance – Ensure that automated processes meet, quality, performance and security standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Maintain open communication with stakeholders, including senior management, to report on the progress and benefits of automation initiatives
  • Risk Management – Identify potential risks associated with automation and develop mitigation strategies

Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of scaling intelligent automation initiatives within financial services
  • Experience of managing Development Teams
  • Strong ability to analysis and map ‘as is’ & ‘to be’ processes
  • Problem solving – Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • RPA Knowledge – proficiency in the principals of Robotic Process Automation – Automation Anywhere Experience (key automation tool partner) would be advantageous
  • Continuous Learning: Ability to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies.
  • Project Management – Experience in managing large cross functional projects
