Position    Corporate Officer

Purpose of Role

The Corporate Officer will administer a portfolio of corporate structures and support the corporate services team to provide first class service to clients, intermediaries and other stakeholders. The corporate services team provide services to a wide range of global clients including private, listed and regulated entities, across many different industries, including full management of companies, registered office, company secretarial services and corporate governance. The team also provides escrow services and manages Employee Benefit Trusts, International Single Member Pension Trusts, Protected Cell Structures and Collective Investment structures.

Key Accountabilities

Client Relationships

The Corporate Officer will deliver high quality service to all clients, working with their team to ensure longevity of relationships. They will interact directly with clients and support the Client Director in identifying client needs and finding opportunities to improve client service and develop client relationships. The role holder will ensure they deliver on client commitments to agreed deadlines and to a high standard.


The Corporate Officer will achieve personal targets as set out for their role for time recording, utilisation and working capital management. They will support the Client Director in understanding and acting upon the commerciality of their client book by reviewing and controlling WIP, ensuring prompt collection of fees and highlighting revenue opportunities.

Internal Relationships

The Corporate Officer will support the corporate services team in driving appropriate behaviour and taking action to ensure the team’s success. They will work with the support teams within the business and build relationships with these teams both locally and across the wider group.

Knowledge and Experience

Professional and Technical Experience

The successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience in either corporate or fiduciary work and will demonstrate a high level of client service delivering against the needs and demands of their clients and the business. The Corporate Officer is expected to have a good technical understanding of corporate/private client administration and an awareness of current issues that could affect their clients.

The Corporate Officer will put their clients at the centre of everything they do, building relationships and exceeding expectations, they will be flexible and professional when working under time driven pressures and will have excellent prioritisation and time management skills. They will be self-motivated and focused on exceeding targets and goals

Language Skills

The successful candidate will be fluent in English.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

The Corporate Officer is expected to hold, be studying towards, or be willing to study towards a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or ICSA). Once qualified the role holder is expected to maintain the relevant Continued Professional Development (CPD) hours in line with their qualification.
